Witnesses Use Hammer, Bat To Fight Off Rapist
Memphis police say a 17-year-old girl was walking to Montgomery Plaza Apartments when she was attacked by a 25-year-old man.
Witnesses say drivers saw the man on top of the girl, they say he had pulled down her pants and was trying to drag her into some bushes.
One man stopped and hit the man with hammer.
A female driver got out of her vehicle with a bat.
They were able to get the man off the girl, then he took off running.
Another woman who saw what was going on was able to flag down a police officer for help.This is exactly what needs to happen, every time.
