Titan Thoughts

10 - 0

That has a nice look to it, don't it?

Of course, during the game yesterday, Randy Cross named the New York Giants as the best team in pro football this year. Heh.

What can I say? We overcame multiple injuries at the cornerback position yesterday - we had our kick returner in at CB. He was picked on early, but by the end of the game, he had an interception and numerous pass blocks and tackles, as well as kick returns and special teams tackles. Chris Carr, you should be the Player of the Week.

Looking forward, I really, really hope Kyle Vanden Bosch comes back next week, because I want Brett Favre to be able to check out the view from the turf on a regular basis. Have I mentioned how much I despise Favre? This will be the game where 'ol Bretty raises the bar for the most interceptions thrown by a quarterback. Of course, that record's already his, he's just going to push it a little higher.

We should win this game, but it won't be easy. It's important to both teams, as both are atop their divisions and home field is something they both want.

Hopefully, we'll start out a little better next week. Even if we don't, we've proven we can come back and win.

Here's to the Titans; may Brett Favre's back make many impressions on the Titan turf this coming Sunday.

The Titans aren't getting their due. They're a force to be reckoned with, and have beaten some excellent teams. If there's an overrated team, its probably the Giants...although my Chargers are underperforming at such a spectacular rate that they must get the prize.

Unfortunately, the Chargers have had that problem since I can remember. =(

As for the Giants, I do believe thier opponents' records are even worse than ours.

No matter, it's the Super Bowl that counts. Just ask New England. =)
