Racism is about the abuse of power. Sherrod had it in her position at USDA. According to her remarks, she mistreated a white farmer in need of assistance because of his race.No, racism is not the abuse of power, it is a belief one or more races are inferior to others.
When you take that attitude and act on it, then you have abuse of power. It's called discrimination. This time it was based on race. Other times it can be based on sex, religion, skin color...
