I'm sure everybody has issues with "Christmas" starting so early at the various stores around town, decorations popping up right after Halloween (or before in some cases).
But why, a week before Christmas, are the stores taking all their decorations down? The ones for sale, I mean. Went to Lowe's over the weekend to pick up a timer (mine burnt out the other day), and there's no more decoration stuff for sale.

They have to remove the Christmas stuff to make room for the lawn mowers and other summer items.
After all, it's December.
Last week, I went into Home Despot looking to buy a photocell timer for outdoor lights and was surprised to find they had retired all the holiday decorating materials.
