One Lone Republican Votes No

So, my Senator, Lamar Alexander, voted against the guns in parks bill. the only Republican to do so. His reasoning?

this legislation goes too far - further than President Reagan, further than President Bush, and further than Tennessee law.

Ok, Mister Senator, but I have to ask: Does it go further than the US Constitution? Or, for that matter, the desires of your constituents ?

Looks like there's one vote Lamar won't be getting next time 'round.
