Unintended Consequences

Elliot over at From Where I Sit asks:

Will American soldiers be less likely to try to take prisoners now that the Supreme Court has decided that people who are trying to kill our troops have the same rights as the American’s they’re trying to kill?
Good question. I don't know the answer of the folks with boots on the ground, but I know what I'd do.

Of course, it's easy for me to say. I'm not subject to the UCMJ any more, am I?

Well you don't have to take them prisoner if they're dead...
