Oh, This Isn't Good

Hill AFB searching for missing case of M-16s

Already smarting from a high-profile misplacement of nuclear missile components, the accidental burning of radioactive uranium and a friendly fire incident at the Utah Test and Training Range, Hill Air Force Base officials today acknowledged that they were searching for a case of missing M-16 assault rifles.
Ouch.

I wouldn't want to take command of that base. No fookin way.

Finally, the proper use of the term "assault rifle" in the media.

As for the missing case of M-16's...

It is probably on the table on a gun show and the firearms are being sold to Mexicans so they can take them across the border and sell them to the drug lords who like to buy expensive American sold weapons because the free ones they get from their contacts in the Mexican military just don't have the same panache.

That has got to be the longest sentence I've written in a year.
