I just caught this story. The article doesn't reflect it, but the guy who attacked eight people at a supermarket in Cordova today was stopped by an armed citizen.
Our hero pulled his gun out of his vehicle and captured the attacker without firing a shot.
Although the dead goblin count won't go up this time, I think it's worth noting that a "wild west" scenario did not play itself out in the Memphis suburbs today.
UPDATE: Channel 24 News has this, specifically about Our Hero. Good for them.

I really want to give the MSM a break, but who doesn't think it's just a tiny bit news-worthy that a private citizen stopped an armed assault?
I know I may be heading for the tin-foil-hat brigade, but, is it standard editorial policy in this country to never mention any positive use of a firearm?
