Proud Poppa Moment

Check this out. It's the Munford High School Marching Band doing their show for the first time this year.

Ok, it's actually a football game, but if you drag the slider about 2/3 of the way through (at 1:55) you'll be able to see the show. Well, some of it. I wish they had widened the camera angle some, but it shows a good bit.

For those of you who don't know, Munford ranks in the top of their class, taking state and national honors on a consistent basis. And, my kid's in the band.

Rusty,

The band looks great. I'm constantly amazed at how much effort and skill goes into a program like that.

Brag away on your kid, it is richly deserved if they are taking honors.
My youngest went to Washington D.C. this past spring for a competition and the band took 1st place in every category.

It's awesome to watch those kids perform.

Now, If I can just figure out how to get chores expressed as 'sets' and 'movements'. They can remember 100 sets but not remember to take the trash out on Tuesday.

Good idea, I'll start working on that, too.
