One of the few MIAs from Desert Storm was returned to his home town yesterday:
Welcome home, Captain. Rest well.[Navy Capt. Michael ] Speicher, missing for 18 years after his fighter jet was shot down in the skies over Iraq, came home Thursday.
A plane carrying the body of the Forrest High School graduate landed at the base about 2 p.m., where it was greeted by his family and Navy dignitaries.
