Reverse Discrimination

What is "reverse discrimination"? Beats me.

I can tell you what it doesn't mean. It doesn't mean, like this headline (and many like it) says - anytime a person of Caucasian descent experiences disparate treatment and files suit, somehow they are in a different situation than someone identified as a minority under the same circumstances.

Discrimination is discrimination. Using terms like "reverse discrimination" only serves to reinforce the notion that equal treatment under the law is only for minorities and women - white guys need not apply.
