Sunday Music

Before there was Bad Company, there was Mott the Hoople.

I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend.

Mott the Hoople, "Ready For Love/After Lights".

There was also Free. I never knew MTH did "Ready For Love" first. You learn something new every day, it seems. Actually, I'd never heard any MTH before I saw your featured clip, although I did know the name. For the longest time I thought Free came after Bad Company because the only song I ever heard from them was "All Right Now." I kinda figured Free was a Paul Rodgers project that didn't meet with much success because of some sort of backlash or whatever. But then, that's because I didn't really know ANY classic rock history.

They were pretty good. A lot of the "glam rock" era was crap, but these guys were the real deal.
