OK, I'm Really Confused

Republicans are supposed to be hawkish, but the Regan administration began the biggest drawdown of our military ever.

They are against socialism, but this year we've seen the beginnings of nationalization. Both our banking system and our auto industry is being bought up by the government.

And now we see, over at Uncs place, that there is a new bill being introduced in Congress to Reauthorize the "Assault Weapons" Ban. Introduced and co-sponsored by nothing but Republicans.

An overextended, weary military. The .gov in control of the financial and transportation industries. Now another attempt to disarm the populace.

They set us up, I tell ya.
