Folks,Unfortunately, no Academy Sports here. =(
If you live near an Academy Sports store and have any disposal income at all, they are currently selling Monarch boxed 7.62x39 Russian FMJ ball for 2.99 per 20 rounds. I was told that they brought in a million cases (500 rds per) and their system has no room to stock it, therefore they're moving it at prices we haven't seen in years. Around Birmingham, the stuff sells out, gets restocked in the next day or two, then sells out with a day again. One store here reported a guy cleaning them out of 23 cases in one buy. So get yo' butts down to Academy to take advantage of the deal. At these prices, its hard to tell how long a half billion rounds will last. Not long, I would imagine.
