Sarah Palin? Wow, what a horrendous pick by McCain. He must be particularly desperate to make this choice.-Talk about limited experience .... wow
And this is tokenism; choosing a woman because she is a woman.
I'd rather see Palin go home and raise her own kids.-
I finally understand how the republicans continue to carry the southern states. Some of these comments are just so ridiculous. We are definitely some backwood people.-
The Southern states are definitely backwards-
Selecting her is equivalent to Bush Sr. picking Dan Quayle, the only difference is she wears a dress.The liberals are having kittens over this.
There were a surprising number of pro-Palin comments as well, which was nice to see.
I really thought there'd be more, but the thread has gone woefully off topic.

That may be the understatement of the decade! If they'd kinda blown her off, and said "oh, how cute a pick that was", they wouldn't look nearly so scared. It was a full bore assault from the jump, though, which to me says "oh, crap. We're in trouble, and we know it".
I don't know a lot about her yet, but she seems, at first blush, that she could be the kind of woman who could be the first female president...which must be making Hillary absolutely nuts. lol!
