No, this date is special for a very different reason:



For those of you who may not know, Stone Brewing (Arrogant Bastard Ale, Ruination) started their Vertical Epic series back in '02, releasing a one-time only brew every year on whichever day/month/year forms the triplet (020202, 030303, etc).

I personally liked the 050505, which I would call an "Imperial Mild", meaning it has the taste of an English Mild, but at 8.5% ABV, it's far from it.

I haven't heard what this years style is, but I will soon.
