Titans Receiver Cited for Gun at Airport

Titans receiver Brandon Jones was arrested and issued a citation at Nashville International Airport on Friday for carrying a loaded .32 caliber gun in his baggage, an airport spokeswoman confirmed.

Dang, he's one of our good ones, too.

“I fully cooperated with authorities who confiscated the handgun at the security gate. I have a license for the handgun and a permit for carrying one. Realizing that I was not intentionally carrying the handgun nor did I have any intention of harming anyone, I was allowed to board my airplane and continue my travels. I want to apologize for any embarrassment this might cause my family, the Titans organization or my teammates.”

Hate to break it to you, Brandon, but you don't have a license for that gun. No one in Tennessee does. Other than that, good job. Glad to see you were allowed to continue on your way.

I have to wonder, though. Would I have been offered the same treatment?
