Reading over at Techdirt, I see there's a "Media Bloggers Association" out there somewhere.
News to me. Sounds like it's the AP version of AHSA (no link for either of them, screw 'em).
An attempt to rein us in? "We'd have done it too, if it weren't for you meddling bloggers!"
h/t Jed.
Mick Wright sets me straight:
The Media Bloggers Association, of which I am a member, is not a "previously unheard of" group, nor was its genesis in any way connected to the AP. Its founder and leader, Robert Cox, is himself a blogger and media critic who famously mocked the New York Times with a fake corrections page and subsequently fought off a lawsuit they brought against him.Sorry 'bout that.
Scooby Dooby Doo!

Ah, nice to know. I'll update accordingly.
