Rest in Peace, Hero - Updated

Shamelessly stolen from An Ol' Broad's Ramblings:

The father of a soldier listed as missing-captured in Iraq since 2004 says the military has informed him that his son’s remains were found in Iraq.

Keith Maupin says an Army general told him Sunday that DNA was used to identify the remains of his son, Sgt. Keith Matthew Maupin, who went by “Matt.”
Welcome home, bro. You can bet if they are asked, the PGR will be out in full force for your return.

Update: The Patriot Guard Riders will indeed, be there:

Confirmed Mission
SSG Keith Matthew Maupin, 24
Batavia, OH
Operation Iraqi Freedom II
724th Transportation Company

My fellow Patriots, I spoke with Keith Maupin earlier this evening and confirmed with him that the news reports were in fact true and that Matt’s remains have been positively identified. He has given us the Honor of showing our Respect for Matt‘s ultimate sacrifice for his country and our freedom
Details to follow.

It might be time for a road trip....
