No, I didn't "try" -- I succeeded. I am an elbow licking fool. Now all I need is an Aleve and a neck brace.
My friend Maria can actually do that. Her arms are apparently unnaturally short or something. She was in the audience of a TV show where William Shatner was a guest, and there was a guy trying to keep everyone occupied during a commercial break, so he asked the audience if any of them had any talents, then told Shatner to pick someone. He picked Maria, she told him she could lick her elbow, and he scoffed but told her to go ahead...lol.
It figures you'd know someone who could do that. =)
