The Opposite of Fear

I'm not known for reading longish posts on the internet, but I have to say, I read this from top to bottom nonstop:

Love is the opposite of fear. Love, faith, duty. If you take counsel of your fears, if you believe in something so little that you can be discouraged before even trying to defend it, then I say boldly that you do not love it enough. You do not have faith in what you profess to believe. For this lack of love, you shirk your duty -- to yourself, your family and your country.
Outstanding.

UPDATE: Looks like there's more to it than just this essay.

And I don't think he was referring to all Yankees, just those who piss and moan and do little else. We have those in the South, as well.
