Mayors To Launch Illegal Gun Database

I'm sure it is illegal - the database, that is.

It's actually what I thought when I read it on Snooze alerts, but instead:

BALTIMORE - Is the illegal gun trade at the center of Baltimore's crime problem? Mayor Sheila Dixon asked that question Wednesday as mayors from other big cities visited for a crime-fighting summit at City Hall.

The state gun task force said it seized 64 illegal weapons in Elkton on Saturday after they received a tip from Pikesville. The task force said the bust put a major dent in "the iron pipeline" -- Interstate 95's illegal gun network.

I wonder if Tiahrt will come into play in any way?
