MPD drops its lawsuit against anonymous blogger:
A day after details of the Memphis Police Department lawsuit to uncover the identity of a blogger critical of police leadership were revealed, the department has dropped its lawsuit.
“The City of Memphis and Police Director Larry Godwin have finally realized that their attempt to unmask an anonymous blogger was not only misguided, it was unconstitutional,” said Paul Levy , a Washington, D.C.-based attorney representing the blogger
