Sunday Music

My usual intro line won't work here, because even though both Edgar Winter and Rick Derringer had more commercial success than this fella, they all started out together.

I remember reading an interview John Lennon did around the time he released Double Fantasy. He said something like "The '70's sucked, musically." I guess he never heard Johnny Winter burning up the fretboard back then.

There was plenty of good music out there, you just had to know where to look. Hint: For the most part, it wasn't on the top 10 charts.

On a side note, Butch Trucks' kid ain't too shabby, either. =).

Lennon must have said that because in the 70's his music mostly sucked - he was all about himself by then.
