Oil Company Profits

Lawdog has a post up about those eeeevil oil companies and their profits:

Allow me to repeat the salient points:

Oil company profits -- 643 billion

Tax revenue collected by the Government on gasoline -- 1.34 trillion.

Goodness.

Google these two terms:

"Exxon profit margin"

"Microsoft profit margin"

You'll be interested in what you turn up.

You can plug most any big company in there and get a better margin than Exxon's. Of course, none of those companies make headlines like oil does, do they?
