Change in Terms

Elliot points out an interesting change in terms:

When Republicans were talking about preventing filibusters in the Senate…

…it was called the Nuclear option.

When Democrats talk about preventing filibusters in the Senate it’s called the ‘fast track’.

Sounds more like fast-talk to me.

Me, too.

    Ahhh, that's a cool shot across their bow! I think I am getting too burned out and have to believe that most Americans are just plain stupid and ignorant these days-- just like ancient Rome. When Rome got fat and lazy, immoral and decadent-- other countries over ran them. I am a History buff-- and a disabled Vietnam Vet: 68-70.

    That comparison has occurred to me, too.

    I joined the Army in 1980, so I was "raised" by the 'Nam vets who stayed in after the war.

    Ah, the stories they would tell....
